designer

Greek-born, Swiss-raised and British-based, the work of Athena Procopiou is a reflection of her diverse background. The Central St. Martins graphic design graduate creates scarves and cover-ups that mine a free-spirited vein, pivoting between the vibrant bohemian pursuits that thread through her spring-summer collections and the resolutely dark, enchanting and otherworldly outlook of the autumn-winter pieces. Inspired by this world of contrasts, the result is highly adaptable and individual luxurious accessories as at home on the concrete urban landscape as they are at an exotic resort destination. Passionate and energetic, Athena Procopiou's textiles are expertly produced in Italy using only the highest-quality fabrics, whether cashmere, cotton, silk, or modal.
