Designer Melissa Kaye created this shade of pink enamel exclusively for Marissa Collections, an independent retailer with stores in Naples and Palm Beach, Florida. It is called “Marissa Pink.”

Naples, Fla. — Retailer Marissa Collections has its own exclusive shade of Melissa Kaye enamel.
Dubbed “Marissa Pink,” the capsule collection landed recently at Marissa Collection’s Naples, Florida flagship and its new Palm Beach outpost.
The color is a cotton candy pastel befitting the tony Florida enclaves to which the retailer caters.

Melissa Kaye has been a forerunner in the modern enamel trend, launching a surprising neon array in 2019 that performed well with clients and retailers.
The New York City-based designer since has experimented widely with color, branching out into a range of shades that conjure different moods and attitudes, making the most of enamel’s possibilities.
Most recently, the brand ventured into the gentler world of pastels. Marissa Pink feels like a natural extension of that softness.
The collaboration with Marissa Collections marks the first such partnership for Melissa Kaye in the United States.
Previously, the brand created an exclusive lilac enamel for London department store Harrod’s and a turquoise hue for Kuwait boutique Qirdala.
Kaye worked closely with Marissa Collection’s Jay Hartington, who brought fine jewelry into his family’s store, to land on the perfect pink to match the store’s signature color that covers its Naples flagship.
Call it the independent jeweler’s version of Tiffany Blue.
“One of my favorite aspects of working with enamel is developing new color palettes, especially when we receive the exciting challenge of creating a one-of-a-kind shade in collaboration with a retail partner,” Kaye told National Jeweler.
Giving new life to five signature pieces, including the “Lola” ring and “Cristina” hoops, the collection retails for between $2,850 and $8,950.
Clients can also special order any of their favorite Melissa Kaye enamel pieces in the shade.
“I love that the Marissa Pink enamel hits the sweet spot on the spectrum between the bright pop of our neon pink and the softness of our pastel offerings. It’s the perfect union of all things Marissa Collections and Melissa Kaye,” the designer said.
The limited-edition collection is available at Marissa Collections now.
