Johanna Ortiz has collaborated with artisans around her native Colombia on signature bohemian jewels and accessories that champion their generations-honed craftsmanship.
The earrings are made by the "Embera Kurmado" indigenous community in Pereira, Colombia. The pieces they create are an amulet through which they tell stories. Every bead color is meaningful because it honors human life. The intricate zigzag details and color disposition is laid out and designed by the artisans following their knowledge and roots.
